How Come No One Told Me?!

One of the guys I went to High School with plays football for University of Illinois! I knew him when he was a skinny little middle schooler...and now look at him! (He's in the center)

His arms are as big as my head! Will, I'm scared of you now :-P

For the record, the UIllinois was one of the few teams to defeat my cherished Buckeyes in 2007. Luckily we kicked their tails in 2008!

He was always a really nice, funny and friendly person. He treated everyone equally, not your typical jock. From my understanding that hasn't changed. Congrats to Will Davis!

(P.S. The guy on the right is SOOOO batting on my team. Look at that wrist! Flamer!)

I Bleed Buckeye Pride.

We here in Ohio don't like USC. Why? Oh, because there were "rumors" of them absolutely destroying our glorious football team, The Buckeyes, and then later losing to unranked Oregon State. The unfounded and trite rumor was something like, "The Buckeyes for the first time in 15 years didn't even score a single touchdown. They lost abysmally, 3-35." Again, just hearsay. I of course have no recollection of this, since the Buckeyes never lose (and if they do we pretend like it never happened.) Case closed.

However, they still have some smart cats at USC. Professor Pete Gordon wrote an article about the importance of emphasizing economic impacts on planning efforts in the midst of a financial crisis. It's a good read. He also has a great blog. (It's still no Fabulously in the City, mind you!)
